1. Purpose of the Policy

This policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and course rescheduling requests will be processed by Paving Paths Recruiters (PPR). It is designed to ensure fairness, business continuity, and transparency for all clients and learners.

2. General Principles

  • All learners must agree to this policy upon course enrolment.
  • Refunds and cancellations will be handled fairly and within the timelines set out below.
  • PPR reserves the right to amend this policy periodically to reflect best practices and business needs.

3. Cancellation by the Candidate

a) Cancellations Made 14 Days or More Before the Start Date

Full refund available minus a £25 administrative fee. Alternatively, candidates may request to reschedule the course with no penalty (subject to availability).

b) Cancellations Made Within 13–7 Days Before the Start Date

Eligible for a 50% refund, or rescheduling to a future course (once only). Admin fee of £25 applies to both refund or rescheduling.

c) Cancellations Within 6 Days or No Show on the Day

No refund will be granted. Rescheduling allowed only if this is the first or second cancellation. A third cancellation will not be eligible for refund or reschedule.

4. Rescheduling Policy

  • Each candidate is entitled to up to three reschedules per course enrolment.
  • After the third rescheduling, no further date changes or refunds will be permitted.
  • All reschedule requests must be submitted in writing to support@pavingpathsrecruiters.com no later than 3 business days before the course start date.

5. Cancellation by Paving Paths Recruiters

In the rare event that PPR must cancel a course (e.g., due to trainer illness, venue closure, or insufficient enrolment), candidates will be offered:

  • A full refund or
  • The option to transfer to another available date at no additional cost.

PPR is not liable for any personal or travel expenses incurred by the candidate.

6. Refund Processing Timelines

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 working days from the date of written confirmation.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.

7. Group or Third-Party Enrolments

For candidates enrolled via employers, DWP schemes, or partner agencies:

  • Refunds will be handled through the original paying party.
  • Rescheduling must be authorised by the employer or agency where applicable.

8. Discretionary Refunds

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., bereavement, illness), PPR may review refund requests beyond the standard terms. Supporting documentation may be required.

10. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it aligns with the evolving needs of our learners and operations.
